Bike Paths

The Central Vermont Regional Path intends to connect to the planned Cross Vermont Trail, which is proposed to extend eastward from the Village of Wells River on the Connecticut River, following the old Wells River - Montpelier railroad line through Montpelier, and to follow the Winooski River Valley eventually to the Waterfront District in Burlington. The two paths converge in the vicinity of Gallison Hill Road in Montpelier.

The Central Vermont Bike Path is in progress right now. Montpelier has opened a section of their Winooski East Path.
