Half the town is in the Green Mountain national Forest, site of Sugarbush Ski Resort, which is the region's largest. Warren Village is just off Route 100 in the Mad River Valley. The Roxbury Gap to the east and the Lincoln Gap to the northwest traverse the mountains. Commercial activity centers on ski services.
