Annie Christopher, who launched Annie's Naturals from the
kitchen of her 1813 farmhouse 13 years ago, didn't stop learning
about food when she graduated from culinary school in New York
City.
She apprenticed in a barbecue shack to learn the techniques
that would lead to her first product, Annie's Naturals BBQ sauces
(still available in "Original" and "Smokey Maple").
Annie went on to create salad dressings and vinaigrettes in
unique and distinctive flavors, using top quality ingredients
and creative packaging. They have become the most popular dressings
in the natural foods market and Annie's Naturals - still in its
original location in North Calais, Vermont - has become a nationally
known natural foods company.
