Welcome
to the Barre Opera House, central Vermont's premier performing
arts facility. This century-old theater is the cornerstone of
history and culture in the heart of downtown Barre, VT - granite
center of the world. The Opera House hosts 70-100 events each
year - from local theater and arts organizations to internationally
renowned musicians and dancers. The Opera House is home to the
Celebration Series, a 6-8 event series running from September
to May featuring some of today's hottest performers. Past Celebration
Series seasons have presented David Brubeck, Taj Mahal, Peter
Serkin, Alvin Ailey Repertory Ensemble, American Repertory Ballet,
Juice Newton, Richie Havens and Pilobolus, to name a few.
