Bolton Valley Resort is a four season resort destination located in the picturesque Green Mountains of Vermont. The mountains are blanketed with snow and we are enjoying a fantastic 2001-2002 ski season. Bolton Valley is a natural snow collector. The resort has the highest base elevation of any area in the Northeast. The alpine ski terrain features 6 lifts serving 51 trails, and a rider-designed snowboard park with half-pipe. Three lifts and 12 trails are available for night skiing Tuesday through Saturday.
Spring and Summer offer the awakening of nature and wonderful hiking, mountain biking and outdoors adventures. Bolton Valley offers a variety of hiking experiences this summer from hourly nature walks to half- and full-day hikes to overnighters. Bolton Valley Resort also has 6 outdoor and 2 indoor tennis courts, and we are just a short ride from several excellent courses, including the prestigious, Nicklaus-designed Vermont National.
In autumn at Bolton Valley the weather turns a bit cooler, night time temps offer a chill in the air and the leaves turn brilliant shades of red, yellow, orange and greens. Hiking and mountain biking takes on a whole new look and feel. Casual walks or bike rides on narrow trails allow you to discover the beauty of Vermont's picturesque countryside. Our resort features fine dining, shopping, childcare, a fitness center and many outdoor activities.
