Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC), your community medical center, includes Central Vermont Hospital, Woodridge Nursing Home and twelve medical group practices. CVMC is the primary health care provider for 66,000 people who live and work in central Vermont. We provide 24-hour emergency care, with a full spectrum of inpatient (licensed for 122 beds) and outpatient services.
Central Vermont Medical Group practices were established to secure access to primary care physicians in Central Vermont. The CVMGP manages 15 practices in Central Vermont in Family Practice, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Urology, Gynecology & Obstetrics including midwifery, Rheumatology, General Surgery, and Family Psychiatry

Central Vermont Hospital is a not-for-profit 122-bed facility offering comprehensive in-patient and out-patient care services along with 24-hour emergency care. Other hospital services include cardiology, neurology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, urology, psychiatry inpatient services, physical and occupational therapy and renal dialysis.

Woodridge Nursing Home: A level I and II facility opened in September 1993. Licensed for 153 residents, Woodridge is located on the main campus, close to the hospital and physician offices.

Central Vermont Physician Practice Corporation was established to secure access to primary care physicians in central Vermont. The CVPPC manages 9 practices in 6 locations in Family Practice, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Gynecology, Obstetrics, and Family Psychiatry.

In 1996 CVMC became a member of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Alliance to continue to provide access to affordable high-quality health care services and technology.
