- The
2003 Barre Homecoming Days a celebration of Barre City's and
Barre Town's culture and history, once again was an overwhelming
success.
- Everyone who had the
opportunity to attend any one of the 48 separate events that
took place over a four-day period had a great time.
- Events started on
Thursday the 24th of July and didn't end until Sunday the 27th
of July.
- Events included Art
exhibits, stock car racing, lots of different live bands paying
in the City Hall Park, street dance, book sales, sport events,
a parade through down town Barre and fireworks just to name a
few.
- The events for 2004
are already in the planning stages and promise to be even bigger
and better than 2003's.
