Carlo DePrato and Michael Lesser have introduced a quality product made in Vermont in the true Italian fashion. Using only the freshest ingredients and Carlo's Italian family recipes, their gelato and sorbets are pure heaven! A wide variety of flavors provides a taste for every palate.

Carlo is the third generation of DePrato's making gelato based on the family recipes. He learned the business from his father.

After working ten years in his father's ice cream shop, he ran his own successful ice cream business in Germany for five years. After settling in the United States, he operated a coffee shop and ice cream parlor in Stowe, Vermont where he started producing Leonardo's Italian Gelato & Sorbet.
