The
Studio Place Arts Gallery
The Studio Place Arts Gallery is a non-profit
gallery at 199 North Main Street in downtown Barre, Vermont.
The gallery, which is on the ground floor, benefits from having
studio artists and an active class schedule on the same premises.
Handicapped parking and wheelchair access are at the rear of

Studio Place Arts, Inc., affectionately known as "SPA",
is a three-story community center for the visual arts in downtown
Barre, Vermont. It is a non-profit corporation devoted to creating
broad community access to the visual arts. SPA is committed to
downtown revitalization, and to making the visual arts accessible
to people from all walks of life. SPA offers exhibits, workshops,
classes, lectures, and discussion groups. The facility contains
the Studio Place Arts Gallery, the Mediums Blend café,
a three-room suite of classrooms for art instruction, and studios
rented on a yearly basis by individual artists and arts groups.
Currently the building’s second and third floors house four
studios devoted to clay, two studios rented by fiber artists,
two painters, and a photography studio/community darkroom rented
by fifteen area photographers.
