Carol Ellison has been
the Owner/Broker of Town & Country Associates since 1978.
A native Vermonter, she has been a resident of Barre, Vermont
since 1972. Carol is a former President of Central VT Board of REALTORS®,
and a former President of The Vermont Association of REALTORS®.
She was VAR REALTOR® of the Year in 1984 and 2001, and on the
Board of Directors of the National Association of REALTORS® for 3 years.
Involvements include: Central VT Chamber of Commerce, Barre Partnership,
Barre Country Club, Barre Congregational Church, Central
VT Economic Development Exec. Comm. and Board of Directors,
Community National Bank Advisory Board. Her hobbies include: golf, X-country skiing, biking, theater and music,
travel and reading. Carol is the mother of two sons, Blake and Trent, and

Michelle Gosselin has been
with Town & Country Associates since 1989.
She was born, raised, and resides in Barre Vermont. In 1985 she graduated from Spaulding High school, and went on to graduate from Champlain College in 1987. Michelle's community involvement includes Past Ambassador of the Central Vermont Chamber of Commerce, as well as past Chairman of the Barre City Recreation Committee, and Barre City Bicentennial Committe. In 2003 she was President of the Central Vermont Board of REALTORS®, and has sat on or chaired many REALTOR® committees. Her hobbies include: golf, horseback riding, gardening, boating, fishing, billiards and cards, as well as spending lots of time with her two beautiful children, Jessica and Joshua. Nancy Gale has been
with Town & Country Associates since 1990. She has lived in Barre, Vermont since 1967. She graduated from Montpelier
High School, and is a graduate of Vermont College, 1960 & 1972 (two degrees).
Nancy was the first woman member of the Barre Kiwanis Club, and is a Past
President. She chaired Kiwanis' Annual Auction (largest fundraiser) on four
occasions. She was a member of the Barre Homecoming Days Committee, is presently a member of
Hedding Methodist Church and its choir, a Trustee of Aldrich Public Library,
a 22 year member of National and Vermont Associations of REALTORS®. She was the President of the Vermont Association of REALTORS® in 2006.
Nancy Gale specializes in residential and commercial brokerage.
Her hobbies include: cooking, sewing, gardening and quilting. She is an avid reader, and
enjoys her camp at Lake Groton, and spending time with her 3 children, and 5

Maurice "Moe" Fortier has been
with Town & Country Associates since 1991.
Moe is a lifetime resident of Barre, Vermont, and a 1950 graduate of Spaulding High School. He served in the Army, and is a Korean War Veteran. Moe worked for the New England Telephone and Telegraph for 36 years. He's a life member of Elks Club, and American Legion, and a 30 year member of Lions Club. He was a Past President, and received the Melvin Jones Foundation Award in 2003. He is a member of Mutuo Club, and a member of Hedding Methodist Church. Moe currently serves as a director of the Central Vermont Board of REALTORS®. Moe's hobbies include: snowmobiling, tennis, attending grandchildren's sporting events, and relaxing at his camp on Peacham Pond with Dottie, his wife of over 50 years! Joan Parker has been with Town and Country Associates since 2004.
She is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, the Vermont Association
of REALTORS®, and a member of the Central Vermont Chamber of Commerce.
Joan grew up in San Diego, California, and moved to Chelsea, Vermont in 1978. Many locals
know her as the racquetball pro at First in Fitness in Berlin for many years.
Joan graduated from San Diego State University in 1972, and went on to receive her
Elementary Teaching Credential there in 1975. For a few years before moving to Vermont
she bought "fixer upper" houses to renovate and sell. Joan and her husband John Parker
have two grown children. Joan's hobbies include: mountain biking, hiking,
x-country skiing,
